Welcome to Workniso! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Workniso platform, which connects Nigerian students with clients worldwide for freelancing opportunities. By accessing or using Workniso, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account or using Workniso, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. You also agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of Workniso, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Workniso immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

3. Freelancer Responsibilities

As a freelancer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your skills and experience.
  • Deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
  • Communicate professionally with clients.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide clear and detailed project requirements.
  • Pay freelancers promptly upon completion of work.
  • Treat freelancers with respect and professionalism.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

5. Payments and Fees

Workniso may charge service fees for transactions conducted on the platform. All payments must be made through the platform’s designated payment system. Freelancers are responsible for any taxes or fees associated with their earnings.

6. Intellectual Property

Freelancers retain ownership of their work unless otherwise agreed in writing with the client. Clients are granted a license to use the delivered work as specified in the project agreement.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a freelancer and a client, Workniso may mediate to facilitate a resolution. However, Workniso is not liable for any disputes or damages arising from freelancing agreements.

8. Limitation of Liability

Workniso is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

Workniso reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nigeria.

11. Changes to Terms

Workniso reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
